how lot step vs manual risk?

Hi,

both options are seperate and can be activated in the "Lotsize Calculation Method" Parameter.

When using "manual risk per trade", the EA will use the SL distance, and the accountbalance, to determine the lotsize, based on the max risk per trade you set.

When using "LotsizeStep", the EA will simply use 0.01lots per "LotsizeStep" value in account currency.  So if you have a USD account, and you set LotsizeStep=600, it will use 0.01lots per 600$ in the account. so if the account is 3000$ balance, it will use 0.05lots (and automatically adjust when the account grows)

thanks, where is user manual to explain these inputs?

Sorry for piggybacking on you. There are two set files, which one do you normally recommend?

The Prop Firm set is really low risk (max 10% total drawdown), so you could start with that one.

The 2% set file uses a medium/high risk, so growth could be big (like 50% in a month), but drawdown can also be bigger

Or you could simply adjust the 2% value of that set file, to 1%, which is a good middle way to start the EA

Lotsize settings explained:

There are 3 ways to set the lotsize. you can select them in the "lotsize calculation method" parameter:

1) use startlots: this will use simple fixed lotsize, which you can set in the startlots parameter
2) use manual risk per trade: this will use the "max risk per trade" parameter, and it will set your lotsize based on the SL of the trade, the max risk you set, and the account balance. so if you set max risk to "2"%, it will set a lotsize, so that if SL is hit, it will be maximum 2% of the accountbalance. So this will adapt lotsize to accountbalance
3) use LotsizeStep: this will link 0.01lots to a value (lotsizeStep). so if you set lotsizeStep to "600" for example, it will use 0.01lots for each 600$ in the account. So an account of 3000$ will be running at 0.05lots. This will also auto-adapt to the balance

Last days for Gold Trade Pro at 399$!! Price will move up in line with the superb performance!

lifengwei
In the past month, EA's accuracy rate has been very high and there is a good profit margin, but every time the price has reversed before reaching the stop profit line, ultimately triggering SL to only make very little profit. How do I set the stop loss to be smaller or move the stop loss to follow up smaller? thank you

Hi

In current version you can not change settings.

Keep in mind that current settings produced 108% growth in just over 2 months.  The settings are the result of extensive testing and optimising for the longest period possible.  Changing settings based on 1 day or even weeks of trading makes no sense to me. You will alter the complete performance of the EA that way, based on a very short time window
