I wanted to see how far a small account could go. Instead of depositing 10,000 I deposited 2,000 and traded it as if it were a 10,000 account.
If a drawdown got deep, I would top it up rather than put everything in on day one.

▸ THE START WAS ROUGH

I got unlucky early. The 74.9% maximum drawdown on that account is from that period, and I had to add about 2,500 to keep running at the risk I wanted.

That is the honest part. It was not smooth from day one, and with this approach it does not have to be.

▸ WHAT HAPPENED AFTER

Around a year and a half with no serious drawdown.
