In response to your follow-up, I have attached a photo of the USDCAD 4H chart in which the trendlines could not be alligned.  I added another Vendor's trendline indicator and it did not line up with where your indicators point. The point being your indicator may pick specific points, but not necessarily the ones that need to be pointed out. If you were to add trendlines to the areas on the picture, I do not see how you can asertain a trend. I am sorry, but I need something more specific that can draw parrallels.

Okay, from what i can see the indicator is attached to price close, and it did the job fine. The indicator only checks if the minimum criteria for determining tops and bottoms are met and then place signs. 

However, if you want more action with the indicator please set "use custom fractal mode" to True. Then experiment with various numbers of bars to right and left until you are satisfied with the points line up. 

I will like to get your feedback after giving custom fractal mode a try
