The scanner has now been updated to not spam you with notifications but only alert you once per move.

I would consider this to be one of the greatest free products in the market.

Thank your for this free product. Can't tell yet how useful it is, since I am having problems backtesting it. Is it supposed to draw or write something in the chart? Alerts and push notifications are generally disabled when backtesting as far as I know.

Yes it's just an alarm, not a complete strategy, you can't backtest it. If you chose to go short or long on a breakout is up to you. It's a software(Utility/Scanner not an EA) that monitors many timeframes and many pairs for a breakout(long) candles.

Hi Michael! EA's and Custom indicators only run on Windows. The Android and iPhone apps are only light versions of the Metatrader software.

Hi, it only works with ATR on break out. And there's no zigzag implemented in it.

what does 300 mean here? what period it is referring? e.g. is it 300 second?


also, 1/2 body length to trigger (ATR): 3.0

what does 1/2 body length mean? and what is the unit of 3.0?

The 300 is for ATR with 300 periods instead of 14 on the timeframes you run it on.
A breakout is always compared to what an average candle length is on the specific timeframe.
3.0 means, that if the average candle length(including wicks) is 10. A candle body of 30 is going to trigger a signal.

It means ATR set to 300 periods. If it's on the daily it's 300 days, it's on the 1minute it's 300minutes.
