AlgoTrade Basket Manager

AlgoTrade Basket Manager treats your open trades as one basket. It shows the net result of the basket and closes all of its trades at the net profit or the net loss you choose. It never opens a trade.

What it shows

  • The net result of the basket: floating profit, swaps and the commission paid when the trades were opened.
  • The number of buy trades and sell trades and their lots.
  • The break-even price of the trades on the chart symbol, drawn as a line on the chart.
  • The prices where the basket would close at your target, at your loss limit and at the lock, when the basket holds only the chart symbol.
  • The result of each symbol when the basket holds several symbols.

Closing the basket

  • At a net profit you choose, or at a net loss you choose, in money or in percent of the balance.
  • Break-even lock: once the net profit reaches an amount you choose, the basket closes if the profit falls back to a smaller amount you choose.
  • Trailing lock: the lock follows the highest net profit at a distance you choose.
  • Optionally, the pending orders of the basket are deleted as well.
  • The Auto close button on the panel switches closing on or off.

Which trades are in the basket

  • The trades on the chart symbol, or on all symbols.
  • All trades, manual trades only, or the trades of one magic number.

How it closes

  • Only the trades that were in the basket when your rule was met are closed. New trades are not touched.
  • If trading is not allowed at that moment (for example, Algo Trading is off), it does not close later by surprise. It shows a message and alerts you.
  • Before the first trade is closed, the rule is checked again on every try. Pending orders are deleted first, then positions oldest first.

Please read

  • All amounts are off by default. Out of the box the tool only shows the basket.
  • A commission charged when a trade is closed is not known in advance and is not included.
  • A manual partial close moves its profit out of the basket and can set off the lock.
  • On netting accounts, lots added to a position after your rule was met are closed with it.
  • Please test your settings on a demo account first.
  • If you have a question or would like a feature, please write in the comments on this page. Your reviews help us decide what to improve.
