L'Expert Advisor « Palacio » utilise une imitation assez simple d'un réseau neuronal (des programmes qui imitent le fonctionnement du système nerveux humain) pour produire des signaux d'achat et de vente ainsi que des stop suiveurs. Dans ce cas, il ne s’agit pas d’un véritable réseau de neurones puisqu’il n’apprend pas du marché. Au lieu de cela, le trader doit l'optimiser pour le marché afin d'utiliser les paramètres qui garantissent les meilleures performances.
