MQL5 Developer Needed to Add Dashboard, Partial Closes, and ATR Trailing Stop to an Existing EA
Job Description: I have a fully functional Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5 (MQL5), and I need an experienced developer to implement a few improvements and new features into the existing source code (.mq5). The project consists of three main modules: 1. On-Screen GUI Panel & Execution Board • Create a clean, user-friendly graphical interface (GUI) on the chart.
• Information Display: Show current daily profit/loss, spread, active position status, and current ATR value.
• Execution Buttons: Include quick action buttons for Buy Market, Sell Market, Close All, and Close Partials.
• Inputs on Panel: Allow manual adjustment of Lot Size, Stop Loss (points), and Take Profit (points) directly from the screen. 2. Automated Partial Profit-Taking (Partial Closes) • Add an option in the EA inputs to enable/disable automated partial closes.
• Logic: Once the trade reaches a user-defined target in points (Target 1), the EA must automatically close a specific percentage of the volume (e.g., close 50% of the lot) and move the Stop Loss to Break Even (optional toggle).
• Must support at least 1 or 2 partial take-profit levels before the final Take Profit is hit. 3. ATR-Based Trailing Stop • Implement a Trailing Stop based on the Average True Range (ATR) indicator.
• Inputs needed: ATR Period (e.g., 14), ATR Multiplier (e.g., 2.0), and Timeframe for the ATR calculation.
• Logic: The EA should dynamically adjust the Stop Loss tracking the price at a distance of ATR * Multiplier. For a Buy position, the SL only moves up; for a Sell position, the SL only moves down. It should activate either immediately or after the trade moves into profit (user choice). Requirements:
• Clean, well-commented MQL5 code.
• The original strategy logic and existing source code architecture must be preserved.
• Deliver the final source code (.mq5) with no compilation errors or warnings.
• Willingness to do a quick round of testing/bug fixing if needed.
