My name is Lucilla. I wouldn't say I like to talk about myself; I much prefer to let the facts and actions speak for themselves; however, if you click on this page, maybe you are curious to know more.
I became interested in trading in 2016; I had some savings and decided to take care of it myself rather than rely on an advisor or my bank.
I studied and made my first trades. Unfortunately, I couldn't follow the charts carefully enough, and I was not having much success.
In April 2017, I discovered StrategyQuant. In January 2018, I marketed my first portfolio of automated strategies, a type of trading that was easier to integrate into daily life.
From there on, I never stopped studying and trading. Over the years, even recently, I have spent a lot of money on automated and manual trading training. It was money well spent, even in cases where I found that it was not a suitable type of trading for me.
I took another leap forward when StrategyQuant evolved to version X, introducing many automation features for strategy generation and selection processes. I developed a fast and effective personal work protocol.
I have been involved in education. Sharing knowledge is inspiring, and I have enjoyed it a lot. I have seen students successfully start and run their trading business, and far too many others are frustrated by the lack of results. For this and other reasons, I have discontinued my educational activities.
Currently, in addition to my accounts, I manage multiple accounts for two different prop firms. Just as I write, I learn that Metaquotes has asked brokers to stop supporting prop firms. The situation still needs to be clarified.
With all these years of experience behind me, what am I doing here, selling my EAs for a little over $100?
1. I have a lot of free time and have already repainted most of my house.
2. I like to test my skills; a new business is always challenging.
3. I have a project coming up, and my son would like to do a not-so-cheap master's degree; in short, an extra income to support dreams and family doesn't hurt.
4. It can be an opportunity to meet other trading enthusiasts; it is not a topic of conversation that I can share with many people.
5. Last but not least, the trading industry generally has a mediocre reputation. I like promoting healthier trading away from gambling, easy money, or scams. Trading should be run as a business, not as a game or hobby.
I find it fascinating that trading can be a mix of art, intuition, statistics, courage, and caution. I intend to share thoughts, insights, or anything else about trading on this page; likely, I will only do so occasionally.

Let's talk about money management.
I manage several accounts of different amounts and apply different risk management strategies. The attached picture shows how my EAs Quickstrike Gold Peak and Gold Spectrum behave differently depending on how they are used.
For instance, when you're limited to using small sizes, your results may differ from when you have the flexibility to use larger sizes. The latter allows you to 'fine-tune the risk, a crucial aspect of trading where you can adjust your risk exposure to align with your capital.
If you use percentage risk, the strategy's performance will also be affected by the performance of the other strategies in the portfolio.
What am I trying to say? Having robust strategies is only one piece of the trading puzzle.
Note: some differences may be due to VPS's technical issues. I don't remember any and I'm pretty sure they were not.
