Good Day Everyone,
It was another good week for us all. The cycle that we were expecting to take place happened only days after we predicted it would. As the pair continued to range, we continued to profit with a grand total for the week just over $7902. We did reverse our position on the AUDCAD and went into the weekend with an open trade which, in this case, isn't such an issue as it derives interest over these days as you can see on your platform Terminals. We do expect to see the resolution on this trade early in the week and will take a look at what else the markets have to offer as we move forward.
The profitable nature of this system has allowed for not only new Subscribers, Investors and Traders alike to make money, but also has had a very unique dynamic in which others are learning to trade this same way. We concluded our week of trades in a recovery mode and did quite well at it. We caught up and exceeded the amount of loss brought upon us by the Broker and totalled a whopping $8452 in total profits. As we do not have a financial resolution as of yet with the Broker, our actual gains for the week are toppled at $682 for the time being.
As our trading continued, we found ourselves going into the weekend awaiting the return of the AUDCAD to it's lower regime. We do expect the cycle to be completed early in the week.

Good Day Everyone,
Last week ended with a late arrival of a Stop Order placed by the Head of Trading Desk, Angus Walker. He decided that our open positions leading into the weekend were too financially risky for IC Markets and therefore took the following actions against us as written in the letter below.
This action was taken whilst we had over $22,000USD in the balance, (2) open trades of 10.0 units and 5.0 units and nearly 500% Margin Level available carrying an approximate -$10,000 Trade total into the end of Friday's Closing Bell. The market was stable at this point and we were well prepared as we already mitigated our risk profile ourselves. This means we had more than 50% of our balance available to us and less than 50% of our balance in play at the time this took place.
No attempt to contact us was made by any personnel at IC Markets nor were requests made or options discussed despite the relevance of this situation. The true turbulent market conditions were experience two weeks prior and were not as prevalent the weekend that followed nor the week after. This Stop Order decision was taken out of our control completely and is currently under legal investigation upon seeing the results of Mr. Walker's action. This was a deliberate action taken against our Traders at BVL FX and the loss for this trade account totaled $7770.00USD for this single account but the total for all Subscriber's Accounts linked to this Signal are still being calculated.
And to be clear, the Market did, on Opening Bell, conclude in our favor once again and our remaining Short position of 5.0 units was profitable immediately and was closed; as would have been our other position if it had not been hacked by Angus Walker.
The matter at hand is not whether the decision of Angus Walker at IC Markets was a just one, legal or prudent in the nature for which it was chosen. The issue is that it can happen to any Client of IC Markets at any time without provocation or notification by the Broker.
We knew there would be set backs along this journey and stated so in the very beginning of this endeavor, we just didn't think it would be sabotage from within the confines of our Broker, IC Markets.
Anyone reading this should take a page from it and make certain they understand just how this works and how susceptible we all are, as Clients under Brokers, to the whims of the personnel manning stations of authority looking at our trades and making rash and incorrect decisions costing only we, the Traders, our hard earned monies. How unjust.
As for us at BVL FX, our good news is that we did fully recover the lost funds by exquisite trading and a dedication to our craft rarely seen. We spent the following days after Opening Bell, and even into today, to extend beyond that loss and are right back on track once more.
So, we move forward, we are on top again and we are going to focus on all of the positive market conditions to come and we are thankful that we did not lose even one Client during this episode.

As per our conversation on the phone today, I have outlined the reason for the stop out of MT4 deal 10666857 due to insufficient margin below.
Post SNB, IC Markets like most brokers (especially ECN) is extremely concerned with clients exposures going into high volatility events. This includes news, data releases, etc. during market hours and over weekends. Last weekend we had the Euro summit where a debt deal with Greece was to be struck. This was considered a high risk event at IC Markets so we took measures before market close to reduce the positions on client accounts that were seen to be the most risk. This practice is in accordance with our internal risk management policy.
To assess which clients posed the most risk we look at two metrics before analysing individual accounts on a case by case basis. We assume a modest 2% gap in the market as our tolerance for this risk assessment, this is why we use a portfolio leverage of 50x. This is outlined below for you.
Portfolio leverage > 50X & Exposure > 100K USD going in to a weekend
The calculations below relate to your account at the time of the stop out.
USD Exposure = 1,500,000 * 1.11578 = 1,673,670 USD
Equity (at the time of the stop out) = 12,906.30
Portfolio leverage = USD Exposure / Equity
= 1,673,670 / 12,906.30
= 129x
Having a portfolio leverage of 129x means a gap of 0.77% (1/129*100) would have caused a complete loss of your account. Anything greater than this would have meant a negative balance. With these metrics your account was deemed by myself as a high priority for position reduction before market close.
To reduce your positions going into the weekend I lowered your leverage to 1:50 which caused the immediate stop out of order 10666857, a 1M short EURUSD position. The remaining 5.0 lot short EURUSD position was left on your account and leverage restored to 1:500 after the market was closed.
Lowering leverage on client accounts is not common practice at IC Markets unless a real risk is perceived by the business in accordance with our internal risk management policy.
To avoid any doubt as to whether or not the orders were STP’d I have included open and close order confirmations from our (FIX) bridge with Integral trade IDs (FXI tags) on them.

The Greek financial issues created a chain reaction which have compromised many financial stations globally. We believe for as long as there is no solid and readily available solution to this, we may remain faithful in the Euro pairings for a few more trades into next week.
As our Subscribers have noticed, we have moved up in the rankings to Trade Level 33 out of 73 with some very nice profits over the past couple of days. We know how everyone, we included, likes to get paid as often as possible so we worked a little harder and made sure everyone walked away with a little extra pocket money for this weekend. Good Day Everyone,
We closed the week holding onto our profits from our gains earlier in the week. As you have seen, we changed things up a bit and started trading the EURUSD and continued with that throughout the remainder of the time. As the Euro has undergone some transitional movements, we got in early for some mediocre gains and still await the profits for which the transaction was begun. We are expecting to see the fruition on the outstanding trade in the early part of this next week.
Going into this particular weekend was additionally more challenging with the Greek financial issues sweeping through the marketplace. We were faced with the difficult choices and, as we have stated previously, sometimes the best thing to do is to do nothing at all. We have traded this pair very conservatively which has allowed us the time required to benefit from our inevitable outcome without intervention.
In total, our weekly gains were nearly $9600USD which is still a very good week on most financial calendars.
Our Signals are continuously proving just how successful they can be despite the challenges of the market place.

Friday was upon us and the Markets are once again hushed for the weekend. We made good progress through the week's end and look forward to finishing up our trades upon Opening Bell. We did grow our account balance by nearly 80% since Monday and that kind of financial success is a rare find within the confines of Forex or any other type of investment scenario. With our continuing gains revealing the drive behind that which we do, we hope those new to our systems will rest a bit easier knowing Trade Level 73 will be here sooner than later.
The beginning of this next week is said to have some financial instability so we have secured our position with multiple options for success. We will be closely monitoring the initial movements of the market to engage as early as possible any profitable executions as they come. We will keep you posted with the outcome early next week.
