New video: why the "close all positions" loop must go from the end

One EA, ten runs in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester (EURUSD M5, 2025-10-15, hedging account; five items one per hour from 03:00 server time, lots 0.01 ... 0.05, so the lot shows the number):
- for(int i = 0; i < PositionsTotal(); i++): 0.02 and 0.04 stayed open; the same for pending orders and chart objects
- for(int i = PositionsTotal() - 1; i >= 0; i--): 0 of 5 left
- while(PositionsTotal() > 0) without a filter: closed a "manual" position (magic 0) first
- while with a filter: 100,000 passes (our guard), our 5 positions untouched; the loop would never end
- tickets array, two positions closed outside the EA: cleaning from 0 leaves 4 tickets for 3 positions, cleaning from the end gives 3 = 3

Why: once the item at index i is deleted, every item above it shifts down by one, so i++ jumps over the item that has just moved into its place.

The rule: removing items from a list or an array in a loop, go from the end. Keep the symbol and magic filter inside the loop.

New video: "1 minute OHLC" vs real ticks in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester
One EA, one day, one $500 loss limit, and two results:
- "1 minute OHLC": the guard closed the trade at -$1,183 (237% of the limit)
- "Every tick based on real ticks": at -$508 (102% of the limit)
Why...

⚠️ Invalid volume: the EA opened a trade but can't close it
https://youtu.be/AMSNlXYXTzw
A typical MQL5 Market story: the EA fails validation, hundreds of [Invalid volume] lines in the journal, a 2 GB log. The culprit is a home-made lot function.

Relaxing glass geometry and a flight through real code: 1 hour of slow 3D visuals in 4K with calm acoustic music. Soft glass shapes, gentle motion and a background that slowly changes color. Use it for focus, studying, working, reading or relaxing.

Video: Python Bridge for MQL5 Indicators

If you research in Python and then write an EA, this one is for you. The video shows why ATR from Python libraries (Wilder's smoothing) differs from MQL5 iATR (simple average of True Range) — 9 % on a typical EURUSD H1 bar, 59 % on the worst — and how BridgeEA solves it: Python sends a JSON request, the terminal creates the real indicator handles and returns a CSV. Same numbers as in the Strategy Tester.

The second half is a step-by-step install for beginners: GitHub Desktop, choosing the right folder, two commands in PowerShell, BridgeEA on a chart, quickstart check.

ProbLab Bridge — MT5 indicators in Python, exactly as an expert advisor sees them

If you research in Python and then port to MQL5, check your indicators first. MQL5 iATR is a simple moving average of True Range, while most Python libraries use Wilder's smoothing. On EURUSD H1 (6 059 bars) the typical difference is 9 %, the worst bar 59 %. A "2 × ATR" stop tested in Python is not the stop your EA will place.

Bridge removes the guesswork: Python writes a JSON request into Common\Files\Bridge, BridgeEA creates the real indicator handles (38 standard indicators, parameters validated against a reference table) and answers with a CSV. Same numbers as in the Strategy Tester, byte for byte.

- install.py copies the EA and compiles it
- quickstart reproduces the ATR comparison in five minutes
- look-ahead warnings (Ichimoku chikou, negative shifts)
- MIT license, no hard-coded paths
