EA makes profit with Gold and USDJPY. yes expect to hit SL as backtest but recovers. This is breakout strategy and expect fake breakout. I highly recommend to use risk 1% or 2% and change the parameters. I used the Author parameter but was very risky and lost my prop firm account. I continued using it and its making profit with 1% risk, pullback 1 or 2. you need to be patient and wait for the results. Never use 4% risk. I will be sharing my setting for gold in comments. This is a really bad robot. I strongly do not recommend it. Don't buy it! And then you will regret 100%. I checked different settings anyway only losses.

Hi, thanks for leaving a review! Ive changed the risk settings now to be slightly lower. I did try optimisation using lower risk but the problem i faced was there were many challenges that ended in profit but didn't manage to hit the 10% so thats why I suggest 3% per trade now. Over the long run the settings I found were best, I also didn't try it on gold but will look to do some optimisation on XAUUSD soon! Please put the settings in the comments so others can use them! Right now, one position has been closed. This system works by setting up two pending positions, one to buy and one to sell, which will reach the price, and then executing them, very simple system. I have a lot of doubts that this system passed the challenge... My setting is default and 1% risk with 100K deposit. For now, I'll give it one star, but if it works better, I'll change it. I will let you know about the results next week, thank you.

Update 13June2023: ftmo challenge has failed with the given by author settings allowed max DD on prop firm is 10% the Ea reached 12%+ ,more proof(photos) can be found in comments section.Non recommended.regards

Hi, you are only down 1% on the challenge. This is totally normal for the EA. The EA works by executing breakouts from significant highs and lows (not just placing one buy and one sell stop, there are totally different trades and do not open at the same time) and then has an aggressive trailing stop loss once price is in profit. Losses are normal for this EA and I would say this is not a very fair review only having had one trade and one loss which is totally normal for this program. Please give it time.
