The results of the backtests were great and I am now starting to test the EA on a real account with a small initial balance ($300). Skin in the game!
Even though we know what SVM and GAs are, it is not clear about why this EAs works well. Good performance so far since 12/24. If the draw down could be reduced, it will be even better.
Backtests was good but first week using it was terrible, may be due to high volatility from Brexit and so it might just be one of those ea's where you have to turn them off at times like this. I'm giving it 2 stars (neutral) for now as 1 week is no where near enough time to make a complete judgement but I am leaning towards thinking that it may be highly optimised for the backtest. I will update in 2 weeks time, hopefully with some better results.
UPDATE:
Not much has changed, the forward test is nothing like the backtest, but again it's only been around a month and the drawdown hasn't been too damaging. The majority of the currency pairs that are recommended were either loss making or just flat. The only profitable pair was GBPUSD which is starting to produce some OK results and I'll continue to keep an eye on it as there is some potential there. If you want the real results of the ea then just set the backtest from Dec-01 (when the ea was published) and that should give you an idea of what it's really like. I am a little bit concerned about the reviews this ea has received as they do seem a tad bit optimistic haha, I guess they must have just stuck to GBPUSD but lets wait and see what the following new year holds. Will update again next month. - Good luck trading everyone.

I've lost 40% after running for 2 weeks. will change review if it improves later.
