I have just been asked, not for the first time either, Why am I selling EAs (if they are so profitable)?

First of all thanks for your interest.

I don't have a crystal ball and cannot predict the future.

The MT5 back tests are quite accurate, I even added slippage delay. The MT5 live executions (opening of trades) are done in less than 1 second, My MT4 real-time demo (VPS) 6-month test of the Momentum Trend Gold and Bitcoin , matches more or less the executions in the MT4 Strategy Tester, number of trades, profit/losses.

However just because it worked well in the past does not mean the market will be favorable to my algo in the future. There is always a risk. If there was no risk - I would not sell it.

RTR Momentum Trend EA is an on going project, there are always improvements to be made, there will always be updates. For example I am testing for partial profit mode, I have undertaken neural network courses recently, I want to see where that can be implemented in this project.

I Initially set out to create an EA that uses low leverage and can make decent CAGR % ( 30%+ annual gain), maybe Max DD around 25% (in worse year). Most decent regulated brokers are 1:30 leverage, I have really made this EA for myself to use. I also feel that if an EA requires at least 1:100 leverage (which most of them do), then that is because that leverage will be used at some point, more or less designed to blow an entire account. I am willing to accept 35% Drawdown, after that I would totally abandon the project, but at least I'm not going completely to blow up my account.

This EA is really a niche product, it has long losing streaks, wins come clustered, win rate is around 17% to 24% , depending on the symbol, which means you are losing 80% of the time, it does not trade every month. It will take a year for me to build a track record (see my public signals). This product is not for the typical EA buyer on MQL5.com . Trading a system with a low win rate is also new concept for me.

Back to the original question,
The starting Price is $499, what you are paying is my research and time. And the possibility that if my EA in the future performs like its' back tests, then you more or less have your own trading business, Currencies, Crypto, Gold and Stocks. By that time, I would have either taken the product off the market or pushed up the price.
