It hunts with an ensemble of independent engines, but it almost never trusts the raw signal. Every setup faces a colder second mind: a meta-label gate that predicts the probability of winning and vetoes anything it doesn't believe, and a Mahalanobis loser gate that measures how close the moment sits to past wounds. Drift too near an old scar and the trade is declined.
Underneath, a Kalman filter tracks the current, a regime model reads whether the market is trending or chopping, and Monte-Carlo and walk-forward checks keep its confidence honest. It learns online — every closed trade, win or loss, retrains the net through triple-barrier labels. Even the trades it declines are studied counterfactually in the dark.
