Gold rarely trends cleanly. It spends most of its time building ranges, faking breakouts and rotating around key levels. RangeAU is built for that market. It reads XAUUSD the way experienced discretionary traders do, through ranges, edges, midpoints and breakouts, and turns that reading into five independent trading engines.

Five engines, five edges
Core Session Engine: one disciplined trade per day, filtered by the higher timeframe, with break-even, volatility trailing and no overnight exposure.
Breakout Fade: captures false breakouts and overstretched moves, targeting the return to the midpoint or VWAP.
Detected Range Breakout: detects consolidations automatically and trades only confirmed breakouts. It skips moves that have already run too far.

Range AU SI is only a week old but already delivering very good results, with a reversal-to-the-mean , a breakout module, and a RANGE module ( badly needed in these markets . It studies market structure before deciding and remains excellent starting value. Best used on Gold and NDX

Built to run side by side

Separate magic numbers and order comments (M1 to M4), so every engine is fully isolated and tracked on its own.
Netting-account protection: only one engine holds the symbol at a time.
On hedging accounts, modules avoid opposing each other's positions unless you allow it.
The daily loss cap now protects the whole EA, across all engines.
The core engine can be switched off to run the modules on their own.
