Hi Andre,

the EA is a semi-automatic trading tool. You trade your trading strategy, and the EA executes this trade. The results of the EA therefore totally depend on your strategy.

Hi Mike,

I have downloaded the demo version as very keen to purchase the full version.

The demo version is scanning the EUR/USD & GBP/USD - I have asked it scann just the 1TF, 5TF & 15TF

The yellow square moves round indicating that it scanning. I have had a couple of alerts latest MAC LONG on GBP/USD timframe 1

However, when I click on the pair on the grey box within the scanner which shows the alert, it just opens a 1H chart with no alert / indicator or reference to the alert just a standard blank chart showing just the candles etc

I assumed that when I opened a chart from within the scanner it would populate with either the MACD or RSI showing the divergence. Not sure if I have misunderstood.

Kind regards

Mario

Hi Mario,

the behavior that you describe is possible. Create a chart with your preferred color/chart-settings and add the MACD and RSI. Then save this chart as a template with name "PTS" (or define any other name in the parameter templateName of the scanner).

Next time when you press one of the grey buttons, then the scanner will load the template onto the opened chart. The time frame will still be H1 but you will have the preferred chart settings :)

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your reply.

Have setup as described all good now.

When i receive an alert I open the chart using the grey box and charts now opens showing both the standard MACD & RSI indicator (all good) - then i drop down to the correct TF

When I open the chart should it highlight on the chart where the divergence occurred like on your indicator overview? or was just to illustration purposes?

Last point, as I like to work off 1TF & 5TF should i use the standard MT4 settings for the MACD & RSI or possibly change? I know this should be down to me but wasn't sure if the divergence scanner would still work if I changed the settings

Sorry for all the questions.

Kind regards

Mario

Hi Mario,

the scanner does not highlight the divergences. It only gives alerts. But the divergences are easy to spot on the chart. A visual check of the quality always a good idea.

Maybe you want also combine the divergence scanner with the MagicEntry-Indicator.

I have a telegram group with 500+ members who trade MagicEntry-Setups on M5 in direction of divergences on H4. These are great momentum trades with high probability.

The guy who runs the group made 100% profit during 3 months while trading live in front of the group.

Here you can see what other people write about Divergence + MagicEntry trading:

Should you purchase the divergence scanner and/or the MagicEntry-Indicator then write me an email to mike@forexfalcon.com. I will send you the link to join the group.

About your question "Last point, as I like to work off 1TF & 5TF should i use the standard MT4 settings for the MACD & RSI or possibly change?"
-> i see divergences more as a possible setup that needs confirmation and not as an entry signal in itself. Entry signals should be searched on lower TFs (lower than the time frame of the divergence signal)
-> therefore, M1 and M5 are imho too small to be the setup on the bigger time frame

Hello,

one of our members posted his results of the last 6 months of trading.

6 months is a meaningful time span for an evaluation of the system.

The results speak for themselves, he made around 700% profit :)

In that group we prefer to trade MagicEntry-Signals in direction of H4 divergences.

To join this group you need to purchase the Divergence-Scanner and the MagicEntry-indicator, After that please write me an email to: mike@forexfalcon.com

Hi!

Yes, an MT5 version will be created. It takes 2-3 weeks before it will be available.

Hi Mike

I use a slight variant of the MACD indicator as my divergence indicator. I have 2 lines and a histogram on my indicator as follows:

Line 1 - signal

Line 2 - ema12-ema26 (or the otherway round) and

histogram - signal - (ema26-ema12).

Is it possible to modify your Divergence scanner to detect divergence on Line 1/Line 2 + Histogram?

Thanks
