How to trade with FX Power?

Use the FX Power histogram buttons to display the currency lines you need, and compare short and long-term analysis to determine efficient combinations.

A. Trade "crossings" of currency histogram lines

BUY if EUR crosses USD upwards
SELL if EUR crosses USD downwards

B. Trade confirming patterns of different analysis periods

Run two FX Power instances, e.g. 1 hour and 8 hours
Buy EURUSD if EUR is stronger than USD at both periods
Sell EURUSD if EUR is weaker than USD at both periods

C. Trade the correlation of single currencies

BUY if EUR and CHF are stronger than USD
SELL if EUR and CHF are weaker than USD

How to choose the right analysis period?

The FX Power analysis is completely independent of any chart time frame.

If you select 1 day, FX Power considers the entire historical data of the past 24 hours beginning from this second to determine the currency strength.
If you select 1 week, FX Power considers the entire historical data of the past 5 trading days beginning from this second to determine the currency strength.

Example: If you trade the D1 chart time frame, we recommend using an analysis period of 1 or 2 weeks. 1 week is a bit faster, 2 weeks is a bit smoother.

Finally, it's up to you which analysis period suits your trading style best

I rented this for 3 months...after about a week or so I simply love it...read the tips and blogs...and I can see that it is a VERY good indicator. Can't monitor it for too long as I work full-time but the history shows some very good entries...patience is always the key...have to wait for a setup. Multi-time frame length is the best option in my opinion. Still study the finer points but after this short time of seeing it I am very impressed.

Update..just closing off my 2nd week with this indicator...simply love it...I think it is THE BEST currency strength indicator there is period. But you have to observe how price reacts and how the lines of the indicator are telling you. The secret of this indicator in my opinion is using multiple TFs. So many options available in the settings simply well done.

Fx Power was a game changer for me and will recommend it to anyone that is serious about trading. It is very reliable if you know what you are doing and would advise that people apply the strategies suggested by Daniel for Fx Power, sometimes we want to re-invent the wheel which can be counterproductive.

No matter what time period you trade in, it immediately gives you a precise overview of which currency is currently weak and which is strong. There are various setting options for all time frames as well as a notification when a currency experiences a strength/weakness range has been reached or when the lines of a currency pair cross, everything can be freely adjusted.

The service:

Daniel & Alan offer great support in the Telegram group, if you have any problems or questions, they answer them in no time. The members themselves also provide help and insights into their trading. In addition, there is the daily market analysis that Daniel provides.

The conclusion:

For me, FX Power NG is the best currency strength tool on the market. Add to that the great service that Daniel & Alan provide.

I set up two timeframes of this indicator and within 5 seconds I can have an accurate image in my mind as to what the currencies are doing before I even look at a price chart. Daniel is also also very responsive and helpful if you have any inquiries. I always have this utility running on my platform when I am trading.

The long-awaited FX Power NG MT4 update is here.

Some users have told us that FX Power NG reacts very slowly, and we have found in internal tests that the identical program code in MT4 takes up to ten times longer than in MT5.

Nevertheless, Alain has managed to find a workaround that significantly improves performance. Unfortunately, this workaround comes at the expense of precision because it does not synchronize the data 100%, but from our perspective, the deviations are tolerable.

The FX Power NG MT4 version 4.22 now offers two calculation variants. The classic precise one, and the faster variant for a significant performance gain.

This allows you to compare and then decide for yourself which one you would prefer to use.
