FX Power 4.58 – Release Notes

We’re excited to introduce version 4.58 of FX Power – bringing enhanced stability, better symbol handling, and a more resilient user experience.

What’s New:

✅ Improved Symbol Management
• Added support for additional symbol variations, including GOLD_ from XM Global
• Ensures full compatibility across more brokers with non-standard symbol suffixes/prefixes

✅ Improved Handling of Incomplete Broker Data
• FX Power now calculates strength values based on available data instead of blocking the output when some data is missing
• This ensures a smoother experience and uninterrupted analysis, even when certain symbols are not delivered by the broker

Significantly faster and more stable when integrated into Expert Advisors and automated scripts via iCustom.

• Expanded Symbol Defaults
Default symbol set updated to Forex28 with Gold now enabled by default, offering better market coverage from the start.

Improved scrolling during mouse movement and corrected history line behavior when using focus tools.

• Framework & Compatibility Updates
Integrated the latest changes from EasyTrade, FXT, and CS modules, and realigned with MetaTrader’s evolving framework for better reliability.

Resolved region assignment issues in the DeltaMap for more accurate data visualization.

Improved data reliability and performance

Fixed a recently introduced iCustom bug that caused a "cannot set timer" error.

New Features:
- Alert Scheduler: Now you can customize the timing for indicator signals to fit your daily routine without being disturbed when you're busy.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed occasional loss of history line colours, width, and style.
- Resolved array out of range issue when a connection was lost.

Improvements:
- Enhanced data reliability in extreme cases.

The following bugs are fixed:
- plot colours when using multiple instances
- DeltaMap view on a white background
- alerts not triggering in some corner cases
- line labels not displayed from time to time
- critical error when plots "Show history lines ?" is false
- synchronization bug with calc period==x Week

Improved missing data detection

The long-awaited FX Power NG MT4 update is here.

Some users have told us that FX Power NG reacts very slowly, and we have found in internal tests that the identical program code in MT4 takes up to ten times longer than in MT5.

Nevertheless, Alain has managed to find a workaround that significantly improves performance. Unfortunately, this workaround comes at the expense of precision because it does not synchronize the data 100%, but from our perspective, the deviations are tolerable.

The FX Power NG MT4 version 4.22 now offers two calculation variants. The classic precise one, and the faster variant for a significant performance gain.

This allows you to compare and then decide for yourself which one you would prefer to use.
