Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Expert regarding take profit averaging pips, when it is used in Martingale it does not work correctly.
In theory, once an average of pips is reached, the EA should close all Martingale operations. And in backtest that's how it is. Works.
But in real account it doesn't work like that, in real account the EA expects that all and absolutely all martingale operations are in profit to close all operations. Which this is suicide.
A developer told me that there are problems applying "TRADE_TICK_VALUE" since it changes over time and everything depends on the account currency, which means that it will only work with pairs of the same account currency.
What I am looking for is if there is someone who can solve this problem and who can trade all the pairs and not just those of the account currency. At the moment I can only trade usdcad, usdjpy and usdchf because my account is in USD
There are free robots on this website, which I have used when I started trading algorithmically, which do contain a Take Profit averaging pips and they worked wonderfully no matter what pair. That's why I know that it is possible to do it. The developer should know what I'm asking for.
