debug disabled

When I try to debug a code the debug functions are disabled. Can someone explain why?
I used to have that in the past but I really didn't care about it, so I really don't know what causing it. There are several question in the forum, but with no answer :(.
1. Restart the MT5/ME5 and then try to debug something else, is it working if you try to debug something else ?
2. Your picture show a compiling error, try to fix your code first until your codes compiled correctly, then run debug again. I usually make a correct compiled code before running anything else.
You cannot debug files with MQH extension! Only MQ5.
