By the way, I think we have three more EA algorithms/methodologies that will decide the winner: money management, risk management and testing methodology.
For example, 2011 winner Xupypr had just 11 trades and a great money management to survive the high margin call. His first trade was just at 2011.10.11, i. e., more than a week after championship start. Metatrader team call this FIFO (First In First Out), because Expert Advisors which started their trading activity from the first minutes will most probably be the first to fall out of the race.
For me, testing methodology is the key and more relevant.
