Hi guys,
I have a general query regarding freelance work.
I am trying to start a job that (for me at least!) is quite large - say $1500 with several particular requirements and key areas of scope. When the job is awarded to a selected candidate, is there the facility to create and fund "milestones" or similar, so that as the freelancer achieves certain objectives they can be released, or is it "all or nothing" and I can only release the full payment on satisfactory completion of the whole job?
It seems unfair to expect a freelancer to work basically "for free" on my Project and demonstrate good progress but withhold payment for anything until the bitter end. Are the payment terms flexible at all?
Kind regards,
Paul
