Accessing indicator values

I want to access values from a running indicator in my EA running on the same screen.

I have not written the indicator, I only have the .ex4 file.

Is that a trial and error execise just looking int various buffers?

If the indicator does not show in the tester, order what you want - need to edit the base year .mq.

It is trial and error.  I usually put the values on the chart and watch it in the tester.

Maybe I should be a bit more specific.

I load the custom indicator using  "iCustom" and get "Succesfully loaded"

How do I access the indicator values??

If not documented and no source code, trials and errors, it's a weakness of MT4/MT5.

Ok thanks.

Have asked on the site where this indicator is discussed.

Any ideas how to start on a "trial qand error"?

Check the data window, you should be able to work out which buffer is which value pretty quickly (if it's outputing to buffer)
