Yes to the first, no to the second.
Yes you need to leave it on ,unless you get a VPS , or double check with broker some brokers offer the vps server for free

I'm a little new to all of this currency trading. If I subscribe to a signal, do I have to leave MetaTrader up and running on my computer to receive signals? Or, does the signal provider communicate directly with my Broker?
