Hello MT4 Developers,
I want to mention some problems on expert development
- Daily bars: During the years, brokers wouldn't have correct daily bars. Except Russian based brokers.
Many of them having 6 day bars. It is really important.
- Always everything is changing and our codes are becoming useless. No backward compatibility.
- MQL3 -> MQL4, MQL4 -> MQL5 changes
- 4/5 digit: many old codes dies. need to change. no backward compatibility.
- Broker side trade limitations. Code do not work on everywhere. Coders have to discover which broker returns which error on which case..
- Waiting for multi-currency testing
- ECN integrations. Hope it will start with MBT.
Hope you focus on MQL backward code compatibility also, so our codes can work for years.
Otherwise, MQL codes are becoming garbage, after your upgrades.
A freezed/working/stable state needed. At least, working codes should be survived after your/brokers upgrades.
We can not guess future changes and code against them in the current time.
