how do I add a different time frame, ie: 2 minutes?

Metatrader is no doubt a good program but it has some very basic things lacking. One of them is the absence of time frames other than the 1,5,15,etc defined variables.

Is there ANY way of viewing a 2 minute chart?

I saw some other posts, but perhaps things had changed from a few months ago.
