Sounds like a History corruption. You can either go to your chart history file and delete all the .hst files and then reload by broker 'scrolling' (not Alpari download) and if that doesnt work, uninstall the MT4 Client, restart the computer and reinstall the latest version.
I have experienced all sorts of wierd things with MT4 that corrupt optimizing and the only fix is to uninstall and reinstall. It's the easiest and 'cleanest' without messing with internal files which sometimes only make the situation worse.
After that I'm out of ideas.

When I create a new chart of any time period and apply the Parabolic SAR indicator to the chart, the indicator seems to be working for several periods but eventually appears to flatten out. Anyone ever seen this before?
Thanks for any help.
