E-mail alerts: programmed into code or a platform option?
Does anyone know how to set up an e-mail alert for an indicator? I am using a simple SMA crossover alert, but what I really need is for the alert to be e-mailed to me. I set up the e-mail option on MT4, but it seems it will only send an alert when a specified bid or ask level is reached. Does the e-mail alert for an indicator need to be programmed into the code? Or is there some option on the platform that I am missing? Thanks, any help is much appreciated.
