Correct way to publish MT4 and MT5 products under platform-specific names
Hello,
I have a free MT4 utility currently published as "MNFM Manual Entry" (product ID 206492). I want the platform-specific titles to be "MNFM Manual Entry MT4" and "MNFM Manual Entry MT5".
I understand that a published product title cannot be edited. I created an MT5 draft with the requested title (product ID 206503), but its control panel still shows Draft, with Publish disabled, and asks for an EX5 product file. I have not hidden the current MT4 listing or submitted another listing while checking the correct process.
Could you clarify: (1) should I hide product 206492 before creating the MT4 replacement, and is a same-utility listing with only a platform-specific title allowed under the duplicate-product rules? (2) may the same utility be listed separately for MT5 under its platform-specific title? (3) beyond attaching the compiled EX5, what does the MT5 draft need before it can be submitted for review?
I want to follow the correct Market process and avoid duplicate listings. Thank you.
