Check out the new article: Neural Networks in Trading: Temporal Motion Aggregation (Conclusion).

Introducing the TMA framework — an intelligent system capable of forecasting market dynamics with sufficient accuracy. In this article, we have integrated all the components into a single architecture and transformed it into a fully-fledged trading agent that analyzes the market and makes decisions in real time.

The first stage of training can be compared to a trial performance on the historical stage of the market. We use data for the EURUSD currency pair on the M15 timeframe for the period from January 2024 to June 2025. During this phase, the model is exposed to a rich historical context and learns to recognize underlying patterns: volatility, reactions to news, relationships between key features, and the hidden structure of trends. Here, the framework acts as a systems analyst, developing a solid understanding of the market state. Gradually, the model develops the ability to predict how events will unfold and assess the level of risk for each potential trade.

Next comes a more dynamic phase — online fine-tuning in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester. The model now operates under conditions resembling real-time operation, processing data one candlestick at a time. Every price change presents a new situation that requires a quick and precise response. TMA remains stable during sharp fluctuations, filters out noise, and adjusts the strategy during periods of low liquidity. What was previously learned from historical data is transformed into live behavior — flexible, adaptive, and confident.

The final step is to test the model using new data from July through September 2025. Here, the model is evaluated on unseen data, without any advance hints. All parameters learned during training are loaded without modification. This stage demonstrates the extent to which TMA is capable of generalizing and operating in new market conditions, where past experience helps but does not guarantee success.
