Hello,
I am developing a research-only EURUSD backtesting system using MetaTrader 5 Python integration and the MetaQuotes-Demo server.
Could you confirm the historical server UTC offset and daylight-saving-time rules for MetaQuotes-Demo between November 2025 and October 2026?
In particular, I need to know:
Whether the server used UTC+2 in winter and UTC+3 in summer.
Whether DST changes followed European or US transition dates.
Whether historical MqlTick.time_msc and Python copy_ticks_range() timestamps follow UTC or the server-time convention.
Whether the EURUSD quote sessions (Monday–Friday, 00:00–24:00 server time) were valid throughout this period, including any historical exceptions.
I need this information to interpret historical data correctly without modifying or discarding valid tick records.
Thank you.
