Hello MetaQuotes team,
For MetaQuotes-Demo/XAUUSD, what time domain do the numeric values returned by copy_rates_range and symbol_info_tick represent?
I need the UTC conversion formula and effective intervals, including daylight-saving transitions and exceptions, for January 2023–April 2026.
In a capture on 29 October 2026, the tick timestamp was approximately 7,200 seconds ahead of the PC's UTC epoch. The terminal was build 5800 and the Python MetaTrader5 package was 5.0.6231. This is an observation, not an assumed historical offset.
Bars around 4 January, 13 March, 27 March and 6 November 2023 match my retained CSV data, including raw timestamps, but that does not establish their UTC meaning.
Could you clarify:
1. Are historical timestamps normalized or relabelled depending on the download date?
2. What historical UTC/DST conversion applies, with effective transition dates?
3. Is the historical XAUUSD quote-session calendar available, including exceptions?
4. Can you provide a UTC-anchored example on both sides of the relevant transitions?
If this information is not retained, please state that limitation.
Thank you.
