Hi,
I'm using the MetaTrader 5 terminal's built-in MCP server to place market orders from an external client. On some accounts the order is rejected with retcode 10030 (TRADE_RETCODE_INVALID_FILL).
The account is an IC Markets EU demo (hedging). The tool schema for trade_send_market_order only accepts: symbol, type, volume, sl, tp, comment (additionalProperties is false). There is no parameter for the filling mode (FOK / IOC / Return), so I can't match the mode the symbol allows.
Questions:
1. Does the MCP tool choose the filling mode automatically? If so, is it based on SYMBOL_FILLING_MODE?
2. Is there a way to set it, such as a hidden parameter, a terminal setting, or a newer build that adds it?
3. Is there another MCP tool (order_send or similar) that exposes type_filling?
Terminal build: MetaTrader 5 build 6231 (27 Sep 2026)
Thanks.
