MT5 compatibility with macOS 28 on Apple Silicon

Hello,

I am using MetaTrader 5 on a MacBook with an Apple Silicon M5 chip, currently running macOS 27.0.1.

macOS is showing a warning that MetaTrader 5 is an Intel-based application running through Rosetta, and that Intel-based applications will no longer open in macOS 28.

Since MetaTrader 5 is my main trading platform, I am concerned about whether it will continue to work after upgrading to macOS 28.

Are you planning to release an Apple Silicon-native version of MetaTrader 5, or an update that allows it to run without Rosetta before macOS 28 is released?

I would appreciate any information about your plans for macOS 28 compatibility.

Thank you.

Many users, myself included, have found running MT5 on macOS to be tricky, due to compatibility issues. One solution that works well is using Windows via Parallels Desktop on your Mac. This setup tends to be stable, allowing you to focus on your trading strategy without worrying about warnings, critical issues or other technical headaches.

In case you are keen to use plain macOS - here is a thread where users manage successfully MT5/Mac
