MT5 build 6276 MCP: XAUUSD tick-value discrepancy and incorrect UTC offset on macOS

Subject: MT5 build 6276 MCP — XAUUSD tick-value and timestamp discrepancies

Hello MetaQuotes Support,

We are validating the built-in MCP service in MetaTrader 5 build 6276, running on macOS through Wine, using MetaQuotes-Demo with trading disabled.

Our captured observations on 21 October 2026 show:

  1. XAUUSD contract size is 100 and tick size is 0.01. Both Symbol Specification and MCP report tick value 0.10 USD. However, trade_order_calc_profit returns 1.00 USD for a favourable 0.01 price movement at one lot. Please clarify the tick-value units and field mapping, and the calculation method, including rounding and currency conversion.

  2. get_time_information returns UTC 11:07:14 and local time 15:07:14, but local_utc_offset_minutes is 0. The terminal startup log reports GMT+4. Please clarify the offset field’s intended meaning and any known issue affecting this configuration.

  3. Please confirm the timezone/serialization conventions for MCP quote, candle, tick and deal-history timestamps, including query boundaries, and MetaQuotes-Demo’s applicable UTC offset on 20–21 October 2026.

  4. XAUUSD historical candles and ticks are absent for server-labelled 00:00–01:00 on 21 October. The displayed weekday session is 00:00–23:00. Was this interval affected by a different historical schedule, outage or history issue?

Please provide the applicable documentation, known-issue reference or recommended correction. Redacted raw responses and screenshots can be supplied.

Kind regards,
Aasif
