the spinning circle means that your data is still syncing. But if that continues for some time, then, your brokers server may be too far away, or have bad ping, bad connection.
If that happens several times over days, then, i recommend that you find a new broker.
Also as you are in the US of A, then, your connection might be limited or even blocked to brokers outside of the US of A too.
Check your journal and Expert tabs for errors and show them below.
