Authoritative historical data contact for MetaQuotes-Demo

Hello,

I observed a small M1 OHLC discrepancy around 20:08 between a historical tick snapshot and a native M1 snapshot for EURUSD on MetaQuotes-Demo. The relevant window is 23 October 2025, [20:00, 22:10) server time. The historical UTC offset is unconfirmed.

Who is the correct authoritative contact for historical data verification on MetaQuotes-Demo? Does MetaQuotes provide or confirm server-side historical M1/tick records for this demo server? If so, could you point me to the appropriate official private support channel or responsible team?

Thank you.

Hello,

devs read threads on the forum, so someone will notice this thread -- no need to find any other contact method -- only do not expect a response. If devs consider it worthy of attention then something will be done silently.

But you should realise that mq demo is not meant to be traded on. It is only for testing of mt4/5 program -- not for testing of trading. In the past the mq server has been known to be "down" work longer than a week at a time -- therefore it can be unreliable.

Always use a brokers mt4/5 instead. if a broker only uses mq demo server, then find a real broker.

Just to expound a bit... The Metaquotes Demo account/server creates prices/bars that do not exist in any live broker-dealer price feed─particularly around the daily market close/open. The hours in which a specific symbol is open for trading can be heavily distorted from that of a live broker-dealer feed as well. Not to mention, outlandish spreads, swaps, and trade execution as contrasted to that of a live broker-dealer's trade server.

I only use the latest Beta Build of MT5 and the Metaquotes Demo account for code development purposes─to stay ahead of the Release curve, so to speak. The latest Beta Build of MT5 also provides early access to brand new features of MT5.
