Suggestion: More intuitive TradingView-style chart navigation in MT5.

Hi MetaQuotes team,

I recently started using MT5 and I really like the platform. But as a new user, I find the chart navigation a bit difficult.

I’ve used TradingView before, and the chart feels much more natural and easier to use there.

It would be great if MT5 could improve things like:

  • Smoother mouse and trackpad scrolling/panning
  • More natural zooming around the cursor
  • Easier navigation through historical price data
  • More intuitive mouse-wheel behavior
  • Overall simpler chart interaction

I’m not saying MT5 should copy TradingView. I just think the basic chart experience could be made simpler and more intuitive, especially for new users.

Just sharing feedback from a new user. I hope you consider it for a future update.
