- Question: Changing Servers...
Hi!
Do yourself a favor, and just forget about them. Their website states that they operate under Cypriot jurisdiction. That means that they're in Cyprus, while you're in the U.S.
Banks in the U.S. have blacklisted all inbound funds coming from Cyprus. If you ever passed a challenge with them and profitably traded, your earnings/rewards would likely be trapped in Cyprus. And who knows when and if the blacklist will be lifted.
Hi!
looks like a scam to me mate. metaquotes server is for demo only for a good reason, and has proven in past several times to not work for days and weeks.
however to your question, a broker can see all that is in your journal tab. That includes your ip address, so yes.

Thanks for addressing the OP's question directly. I previously didn't even get to it due to a preliminary red flag.
Former Forum Moderator, Fernando, previously told me that Metaquotes isn't very keen on prop firms exploiting Metaquotes' demo trade server. In that scenario, Metaquotes gets their demo server burdened, gets no broker-dealer contract, and the prop firm gets challenge fee proceeds. In contrast, a reputable MT5 prop firm partners with a Metaquotes-partnered broker-dealer which, in turn, provides the simulated/demo trade server/feed. In this way, the prop firm compensates the broker-dealer and avoids the legal quagmire of being an investment advisor/investment fund. At least, this is the proper structure in the U.S., and there is only one such prop firm.
