Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on a personal project to better visualize Smart Money Concepts (SMC). As a developer and trader, I wanted to create a tool that maps market structure more dynamically, and I’ve built a standalone application (C#/.NET) that simulates institutional logic.
The tool currently handles:
Market Structure: Automatic BOS / CHoCH detection.
Supply & Demand: High-probability Order Blocks (Bullish/Bearish).
Liquidity Mapping: Identifying buy-side and sell-side liquidity.
Imbalance Detection: Visualization of Fair Value Gaps (FVG).
Why I am posting here: I’ve reached a point where the core engine is working, but I need the eyes of experienced SMC traders. I want to ensure my logic for BOS and Liquidity sweeps matches real-world institutional behavior before I move further into full MT5/MT4 terminal integration.
I decided to keep the project Open Source on GitHub because I believe in community-driven tools. I’m not selling anything; I just want to improve the algorithm with your feedback.

Question for the experts here: Do you think the current BOS detection (shown in the GIF) is too sensitive for volatile pairs like XAUUSD? I’d love to hear your thoughts on how to filter out "fake" structures.
