how to contact with the service-desk - the search results

I found a solution to this problem. (for windows)

  1. on mt5 go to tools > options > server
  2. then enable proxy server (click proxy to check the setting)
  3. click ok and restart mt5
it should work fine

hello friends, The proxy address http://127.0.0.1:86/ is a localhost address, not your actual proxy server. It may be a leftover setting that interferes with your proxy connection.

Open your Windows Internet settings and disable the Setup Script if it is enabled. Sometimes the old proxy settings remain, so you may need to check the Windows Registry and remove the previous proxy configuration carefully. Then go to Manual Proxy Setup and enter your actual proxy IP address and port.

I’ve been using a proxy myself, but when using a VPN, you may also need a way to bridge or route the network connection correctly, depending on your setup.

I hope this helps. Thanks!
