Hello,
I noticed an inconsistency on the MetaTrader 5 Linux installation page.
The copy/paste command uses:
https://download.terminal.free/...
while the screenshot on the same page shows:
https://download.mql5.com/...
Since this script requires sudo privileges, having two different download domains could be confusing and potentially unsafe.
Could you please clarify which domain is the official and intended source?
I have checked the sha256 checksums of both files which get downloaded and they are identical, so nothing there I guess.
When I checked their TSL certificates I noticed that there is a discrepancy in TSL certificate issuance across the 2 observed endpoints,
the services use certificates from different Certificate Authorities (DigiCert vs GoGetSSL), which can suggest inconsistent certificate management practices across the 2 domains.
I thought it was worth mentioning as it could at the very least undermine some of the trust in the services.
Screenshot for reference.
