MT4/MT5 Installation Fails – Proxy Detected (No Proxy Configured)

Hello,

We are experiencing an issue when installing MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 on a VPS. During installation, the setup repeatedly prompts for proxy server configuration, even though no proxy is configured on the system.

Details:

- Affected IP: 212.69.6.122

- Platform: MetaTrader 4 & MetaTrader 5

- Environment: Windows VPS

- Issue: Installer shows "Proxy Server" popup and cannot proceed with download

- WinHTTP Proxy Check: "Direct access (no proxy server)"

- LAN Proxy: Disabled

- VPS Restarted: Yes

- TLS Enabled: Yes

- System Time: Synced correctly

Steps already performed:

Verified no proxy in Internet Options (LAN Settings)

Ran command: netsh winhttp show proxy → Result: Direct access (no proxy server)

Reset proxy using: netsh winhttp reset proxy

Restarted VPS

Ensured date/time synchronization

Enabled TLS 1.0 / 1.1 / 1.2

Retried installation multiple times

Result:

The MT4/MT5 installer still requests proxy configuration and fails to download required files.

Could you please advise if there are specific MetaQuotes download servers that might be blocking this IP, or if additional network requirements are needed?
