Hi im not able to install MT4 or MT5.
It may be something wrong with your computer with Windows 10 64-bit ...
Because MT4 should be installed with the broker's website, and MT5 may be installed from here ... but we can install from the broker's website as well.
If you can not install so it is some problem with your computer or you are using computer with Windows XP or Windows 7 which are not supported anymore for example.

thank u for ur reply. i am using windows 11. yes i have tried both from broker website and direct metatrader website. its the same. so how do i go about this??
I have 2 computers with Windows 11 64-bit: one is without antivirus software, and the other one is with some chinese antivitus software installed, and no problem at all.
So, it is something wrong with your computer or Windows, or your antivirus, or firewall on computer.

You can try to download (and install) MT5 from this website - Download MetaTrader 5 , and if it is impossible for you so you should fix your computer/antivirus/ firewall/any.
