Saving default template should solve the issue. I do not know why it did not work for you.
did you guys found any solution?

The method that I use is:
- Uncheck Chart auto scroll (this prevents the chart from auto rescaling);
- Scroll your vertical (y axis) chart scale down so that price bars are basically a flat horizontal line (this increases the verical scroll range);
- Check Scale fix; and
- Scroll the vertical scale up to your desired size.

This works well, how to you save it though....once you set it up it works but when you open a new chart its all lost.
Thanks

Yeah thats what I've done however even when you change to a different chart you have to remove disable and enable again. So yours works fine even when scrolling through charts?
Better still does anyone know how to add a button to the scalefix mt5 indicator?

sorry. i rarely use custom chart scrolling; however if you save the default template, every new chart you open from that point onward, should have the same custom scroll. This would also include if you open a chart of a different pair/symbol. so using default template will NOT be appropriate if you are using different symbols.

Hey All,
Hoping someone might be able to help out with this very frustrating problem,
I set my charts up using scale fix so i can move the chart around, but no matter what i do the settings end up resetting after i close my MT5 terminal or i switch time frames and i have to manually adjust it back every time. Is there a way to permanently save the scale fix settings? I've tried adjusting, saving templates, saving it as defaults etc, i just cant get it to work.
Thanks
