I recently published my EA without even checking what was already on the market, and when I did... my god.
Everything was generated by AI: names, titles, descriptions, images, some of them didn't even bother creating a custom strategy and just asked AI to think of one and then to code it.
This is getting annoying, it is polluting the market and preventing working EAs from getting a higher rank.
By analyzing the first EA in terms of rank (I won't say the EA name out of respect for its creator), it currently has 4.99 stars and 152 reviews, and they are ALL fake ones!
Fake AI reviews with fake people asking for the "guide".
I tried downloading the EA demo and what I found out was just unsettling: backtest only worked from 2018, huge equity drawdown spikes (clear sign of Martingale of some kind) but still, it had a rising curve - isn't that the purpose of it all?
This had me thinking its huge success (from 2018 onwards only) had to do with something... something called "arrays" (or data snooping).
All of this for people to just buy it and never know its risk of ruin.
I am aghast at this. How the hell does the MetaTrader team allow all this?
I think the Market needs a huge reset and stronger checks, such as source code uploads to moderators (or the market-specialized team).
Am I the only one that has noticed this?
Am I overthinking everything?
It seems you also posted here without checking what was already on the forum too...this had been discussed many times in the past 10 or even more years.
My opinion : you could be right, but discussing about it is just waste of time, only MetaQuotes can do something about that, and obviously they decided to do nothing. So all is already said.

Not my fault if searching "Market" on the search bar only returns my topic and some other off-topic posts.
Could you kindly link some of the topics in a comment?
