MT5 back testing

Mt5 back testing used to support multiple time frames

Could anyone please suggest why mt5 back testing is currently not supporting multiple time frames?

Sivaramakrishnan Thavasi:

MT5 has always supported multi-timeframe backtesting.

If it’s not working in your case, it may be related to how your EA accesses those timeframes.

Edit: Please don't take this the wrong way, but you're asking many questions that likely stem from issues in your own code, both in MT4 and MT5. ( https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/488488 )

The article provides the results of testing a simple trading strategy in three modes: "1 minute OHLC", "Every tick" and "Every tick based on real ticks" using actual historical data.

Sir, let me repeat slowly, as you seem not to be reading well:

  1. As already mentioned (and as MT5 has always supported) multi-timeframe backtesting works perfectly fine.
  2. If you're now seeing only 1 timeframe, it’s almost certainly due to your EA logic or a glitch at the code level - not MT5 itself.
  3. You referenced a tool, dropped a YouTube link and mentioned an image... (which, by the way, wasn’t actually attached) - very nice progress. Yet you still haven’t shared any code.
That’s like calling a mechanic: “My car won’t start. I watched a video. No, I won’t open the hood”

Thank you for your kind reply
I don't have any code, I depend on that tool

Then you need to contact the developer of that tool.
