From mt5 to mt4

Hi .
I had mt4 years ago ,upgraded to mt5 a couple of years after and now I want to go back to mt4 only problem is that even after deleting all data and uninstalling mt5 when I download mt4 the I can't install custom indicators any more (They just don't show up in list of indicators in the trading terminal) and when I checked in the navigation folder i realized that the folder that was supposed to be named MQL4 is named MQL5
I download mt4 on another laptop (that is not mine and that has never had mt4 or mt5) and the right folder named MQL4 is the and custom indicators work !
I think even after deleting and manually deleting the folders where all the metatrader data is stored ,the is still some residual information left somewhere else and to confirm this when opening the newly installed mt4 and opening a demo account I get my information auto filled further confirming this theory .
I may be wrong ....the important thing that I need is to download and use mt4 in my laptop ...therefore please assist in solving this ....

You can download and use MT4 from supported broker website only. Search about which broker provides MT4 access.
