Change location of editor temp files

Can i change the location of the IDE's temporary files ?

During compilation with a 60mb include file the hard drive bloats in size and runs out at which point the ide stops compiling.

I changed the location of the swap file to a new drive , restarted , but the same small system drive keeps getting bloated anyway so i 

assume its editor temp files needed to compile.

I also changed the drive of the MT5 terminal , the outcome was the same.
