My MacBook Air M2 restarts when MT5 is opened

My macbook air M2 restarts when MT5 is opened. I was on macos sonoma and had to stop using MT5 until the new macos sequoia update came out; and I just had the same problem. I will put the result of the newspaper below and is there anyone to help me?

Sorry to hear about your issues with MT5 on macOS! Unfortunately, macOS updates like Sonoma and Sequoia can sometimes conflict with MT5, causing problems like the one you're experiencing.

Many users, myself included, have found running MT5 on macOS to be tricky due to compatibility issues. One solution that works well is using Windows via Parallels Desktop on your Mac. This setup tends to be stable, allowing you to focus on your trading strategy without worrying about crashes or technical headaches.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

What version of the MT5 do you have? The version is displayed in 'about' and in the app log. If the MT5 crashes on startup, the log can be found by following the path

~/Library/Application Support/net.metaquotes.wine.metatrader5/drive_c/Program Files/MetaTrader 5/log

If possible, launch MT5 from the system terminal and copy the startup log.

sudo chmod -R 755 /Applications/MetaTrader\ 5.app
sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MetaTrader\ 5.app
open /Applications/MetaTrader\ 5.app
